Aprende cómo usar el Present Continuous (Present Progressive)

📘 ¿Qué es el Presente Continuo?

El Present Continuous se utiliza para describir acciones que están ocurriendo en este momento, situaciones temporales y planes futuros cercanos.

📗 Estructura

Sujeto + verbo to be (am/is/are) + verbo principal + ing

✅ I am studying English.
✅ She is reading a book.
✅ They are playing football.

📙 Usos principales

• Acciones que ocurren ahora mismo: She is talking on the phone.
• Acciones temporales: I am living in Mexico this year.
• Planes futuros cercanos: We are meeting tomorrow.
• Acciones en progreso pero no necesariamente en este instante: I am reading a very interesting book these days.

📒 Reglas de ortografía para el -ing

• Verbos terminados en “e”: se elimina la “e” → make → making
• Verbos cortos con consonante-vocal-consonante: se duplica la última consonante → run → running
• Verbos terminados en “ie”: se cambia por “y” → die → dying
• Verbos regulares: simplemente se añade “ing” → play → playing
